Mann, along with three additional members have joined the Board, a team of volunteers bringing together their knowledge and experience to guide Peel CAS in its commitment to children, youth and families in the region. “On behalf of Peel CAS, we would like to welcome Harry to this role and the new members to our Board of Directors,” commented outgoing president Suzanne Senior-Mitchell. Mann has been practising law for more than 30 years. He previously served as Chairman and as a Director of the United Way of Peel Region. He has been awarded Queen's Golden Jubilee Diamond Jubilee Medals for his contribution to fellow citizens, the community and Canada. Jan Courtin is the Superintendent of Education of Peel District School Board. She brings a wealth of experience and the belief that all children and young people deserve the very best chance that can be provided for success in life, in whatever way success is defined for them. Inayat Vasta is a senior executive with experience in finance and management, operational and strategic planning, operational performance, measurement, development and analysis. He brings more than 20 years of volunteer experience to CAS. Juliet Jackson brings 20 years of experience in Human Services to CAS. She leads service system planning and management of housing with a view to policy and service integration for the Region of Peel. Peel Children's Aid protects children from abuse and neglect and helps parents and caregivers build healthy families. As guardians for children or youth who cannot remain with their families, CAS helps create forever families through adoption, and help youth become independent and confident adults.
