OPP youth campers will wash carsCaledon OPP is hosting its annual OPP Youth Leadership Camp the week of Aug. 5 to 9. Police report several community activities have been planned to engage the members. Police, along with the 18 youths, will be hosting a car wash at Midas Express Oil Changer at 12543 Regional Road 50 in Bolton Aug. 7, starting at 10 a.m. All proceeds will be directed to the detachment's second annual Shop with a Cop event. Last year's event was very successful, due to the generous donation of many sponsors and community groups. Shop with a Cop will be held in the beginning of December and to assist with raising funds. |
