Nobletoyz Athletes of the Week — April 27, 2017
Mayfield Secondary School Adam Allen This Grade 10 student is playing number eight on the school's junior boys' rugby team. They have played one game so far this season, and it brought an impressive result, namely a 43-0 victory. He was also a line backer on the junior football team in the fall. In the community, he plays select hockey in the Caledon Hawks' organization. The 16-year-old lives in ValleyWood.
Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School Brooke Sullivan This 17-year-old plays striker on the varsity girls' soccer team, which has opened the season with a 2-0 record. She was a wide received on the flag football teams in the fall, and they made it to the semifinals of ROPSSAA. She used to play volleyball and compete in track and field. Away from school, she plays rep soccer in the Erin-Hillsburgh Spartans' organization. The Grade 11 student lives in Orangeville.
St. Michael Catholic Secondary School Jaden Amaral The Grade 10 student is playing mid-field on the junior boys' soccer team, which has started the season with a 1-1 record. He said they never stop fighting, no matter what the score is, “until the ref blows the whistle.” He also plays volleyball and ping pong at school. In the community, he used to play rep hockey and now plays rep soccer with the Caledon Football Club. The 15-year-old lives in the Bolton area.
Humberview Secondary School Macy Schultz This 15-year-old is scrum half on the junior rugby team, and they already have a tournament win. “I got player of the game in my first game ever,” she said. She also played on the school's ROPSSAA champion junior basketball team. In the community, she coaches mini-ball to younger folks in the Caledon Cougars' organization. The Grade 9 student lives in Bolton.
