The Town of Caledon has 53 employees making the list this year, under the category of “municipalities and services,” representing an increase of 10.4% in the number of people. Last year, they had 48 employees on it  Town of Caledon Chief Administrative Officer Mike Galloway led the list of public sector employees with a salary of $229,145 in 2018. He also had $1,308.70 in taxable benefits. He made $225,420.42 in 2017, after Town Council approved an approximate 10 per cent increase. He also made $201.057.31 in 2016.  The average salary of employees on the list was $126,807. For all employees on the list for the Town, a total of $6,720,770 was paid in salaries. Fuwing Wong, general manager of finance and infrastructure for the Town of Caledon earned a salary of $182,816,90 in 2018. He had 41,072.05 in taxable benefits. He gained $187,701 in 2017. Peggy Tollett, general manager of community services for the Town of Caledon earned a salary of $176,440.60 with $1,004.58 in taxable benefits. David Arbuckle, director of strategic initiatives for the Town of Caledon earned $170,593 and $973.21 in taxable benefits. Konstatine Starvarakos, solicitor for the Town of Caledon earned $138,205. Caledon Fire Services had 25 employees make the list. Darryl Bailey, chief of fire and emergency services made $151,667. Mark Wallace, deputy fire chief made $139,57 and Colin Hanna, deputy chief made $126,550. Caledon OPP made the list. Ryan Carothers, detachment commander for Caledon OPP made $160,119. Monty Laskin, chief executive officer for Caledon Community Services earned $174,015. James Triantafilou, executive director of Brampton-Caledon Community Living made $142,512. The data is the total number of employees disclosed under the Ontario Public Sector Salary and Disclosure Act. There was a total of 19,131 employees in Ontario, or about 14.5 per cent named. Across Ontario, the total salaries were $19,207,224,624 in 2018, a 14.1 per cent increase from the previous year.
