The situation regarding pedestrian safety in Caledon East is going to be the topic of a community meeting this Thursday (Oct. 3).
Hosted by the Caledon East Public School Safety Committee, Adam Martin-Robbins reported the session will be open to everyone, and it will discuss initiatives undertaken to improve pedestrian safety along Airport Road and throughout the village. While the aim is to ensure the safety of students walking to the school, any improvements will benefit the entire community.
It will be at Caledon East Public School, starting at 7 p.m., and there will be representatives from the Peel District School Board, Town of Caledon and Region of Peel on hand.
The school is at 15738 Airport Rd., with the entrance off Jean Street.]]></content-encoded>
