It's official, Caledon Meals On Wheels has received a three-year accreditation from CARF Canada. As a result of the collective efforts of the staff, Board of Directors and volunteers, CMOW passed with flying colours. Accreditation is official recognition that CMOW met the internationally recognized service standards and best practices. “Accreditation demonstrates that our organization has opened its service delivery and business processes to outside scrutiny so that we can improve the quality of our programs and services” CMOW Executive Director Christine Sevigny said. “We are so very proud of this accomplishment.” Those on hand for the accreditation announcement included consultant Avanthi Goddard, CMOW Board member Pina Marino, Sevigny and Board member Carlos Frewin, along with Maria Britto and Brock Hovey, representing the Central West Local Health Integration Network.
