Mayor Marolyn Morrison — Time to pitch in and take part in annual community clean-up Saturday

Grab your friends and neighbours.
It's that time of year again. The annual Tim Horton's Community Clean-up Day will be taking place this Saturday (May 3). Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness (at 1411 Regional Road 50).
All participants will receive gloves, a T-shirt and a Tim Horton's appreciation item while supplies last. After the clean-up, participants are invited to enjoy a barbecue and a chance to win amazing prizes, including Tim Cards, Coffee Gift Packs and a bike.
This awesome annual event is made possible through Tim Horton's Bolton and the Stafford Family. Working together with the community to clean-up the place we call home goes a long way to promoting community spirit and pride. As Mayor, I truly appreciate the efforts of local businesses who give back to the community. I would like to sincerely thank the Stafford family for their contributions to this event and many others throughout the years. They are a shining example of a good corporate citizen.
While we are on the subject of corporate citizens, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Egan Funeral Home and the Egan Family on their 100th anniversary. This Caledon establishment has aided many through the most difficult times in their lives, while maintaining the utmost compassion and professionalism. Their contributions to our community these past 100 years are countless and truly appreciated.
