Make sure you're on the voters’ list

Caledon electors can now check the Voters' List to ensure they are able to vote in the upcoming Municipal Election.
Important voting information will be mailed to electors on the list. Being on the Voters' List makes voting faster and easier.
Up to and including the close of voting Oct. 27 at 8 p.m., electors can check to see if their name and relevant information are on the list by contacting or visiting Town Hall during normal office hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Legislative Services Office, 6311 Old Church Rd., Caledon East or by going to www.caledon.ca/elections
An eligible elector can add their name to the Voters' List or revise their information by completing an Application to Change the Voters' List Form, found in the 2014 Municipal Election Section on the Town's website, or by contacting the Legislative Services Office. Electors are asked to complete the information on the form, including any corrections, and return it to the Legislative Services Office by mail or in person with acceptable identification that includes their name and qualifying address (for example, a driver's license). Completed forms can be mailed, along with a photocopy of acceptable identification, to the Legislative Services Office.
Electors are encouraged to complete their Application to Change the Voters' List prior to Voting Day to reduce line ups at voting locations.
All voters, even if their names are on the Voters' List, will be required to show identification at the voting place before receiving their ballot.
For further details, visit www.caledon.ca/elections or call the Town Legislative Services Office at 905-584-2272, ext. 3528.
