Lots of food and fun at Rotary Ribfest


The weather was just about perfect, and the food and entertainment in good supply recenlty for the second annual Ribfest put on by the Rotary Club of Bolton. Dinosaur BBQ Pit carried of the prize for serving the best ribs at Ribfest. Chefy Van Ham, Paige Kemp and Andy Sawh of Little Rock, Arkansas, were hoisting the trophy.

The entertainment included a performance by the Bolton group Eternal Red. The band members are Edouardo Famele on guitar, Griffin Brady-Eckel on drums, Grace Turner on vocals and Andreas Arramidis on bass.

The Fiddlestix Band included Nancy Cipollone on guitar, Jeff Blake on keytar, Steve Bowen on violin, Scott Apted on drums and Carly Hoffman on bass.

A mini tractor pull was among the attraction at Ribfest. Caledon East area resident Greg Reid drove this John Deere for a 235 feet two inches pull.
