Library has fun activities for March break

By Josh Braun
Looking for something to get the family involved in this March break?
Caledon Public Library invites you to join them while they host MakerSpace Mayhem.
MakerSpace Mayhem is a program gaining popularity among libraries across North America. It's a program where individuals can “make, create, innovate and formulate.” The library is hosting a variety of hands-on, “learn all about” programs and workshops that help inspire people beyond their imagination.
During the break, kids can settle in with a family story time session or get involved with activities like Circuits in Seconds, Toy Hacking 2.0, Book Hacking 101, and Cardboard Challenges, where participants will use their imagination to create things like cars and a guitar.
The library will also be offering a Robot Rocket Launch Workshop in partnership with MakerKids. Prepare to learn designing strategies on how to make a rocket that will fly for a long distance all the while getting the chance to personalize a rocket before sending it for liftoff.
Fans of the third most popular computer game of all time, Minecraft, are welcomed as well with activities for them such as Camp Minecraft for Kids and Minecraft Mischief for Tweens. These full week programs will run for two hours each day.
