Joe Tersigni is Caledon’s Senior of the Year

Caledon has recognized a local senior for his outstanding contributions to the community. 

On June 25, Mayor Annette Groves and Caledon Council awarded Joe Tersigni with Caledon's Senior of the Year Award.

The award is granted by the Government of Ontario and each year it's given to someone aged 65 and up who has enriched the social, cultural, or civic life of their community.

Groves said she was pleased to honour Tersigni with the award.

“(I) congratulate him on this accomplishment,” said Groves. “He is an inspiration for all of us and our community has benefitted from his service.”
