James Rowland marks 40 years in business with gift to BethellJim Rowland recently celebrated his 40th year in business. In appreciation to his many loyal Rowland Investment and Insurance Inc. clients, Rowland made a significant donation to Bethell Hospice Foundation. “I have been impressed with the way Bethell House works since the beginning,” he said. “Google it and you see a five-star rating. The care a resident receives is first class from the staff and 200 volunteers. They don't turn anyone away and don't charge a resident for their stay. I know what it costs for a month's stay and Bethell has to fund raise $1,000,000 a year to operate. I couldn't think of a better way of giving back to the community that has supported me for 40 years.” Long time product partner Manulife Financial and Manulife Securities and President of Manulife Bank have also donated to Bethell Hospice Foundation in recognition of Rowland's achievement. Bethell Hospice is the only residential hospice serving Caledon, Brampton, Dufferin County and west Woodbridge. It also provides community programs throughout Caledon and Brampton.  Caledon businessman James Rowland, of Rowland Investment and Insurance Inc., recently marked 40 years in business with a significant gift to Bethell Hospice Foundation. On hand for the presentation was Bente Rowland; Mayor Allan Thompson; Jim Rowland; Neil Klempner, advisory services regional manager on behalf of the Manulife Group of Companies; and Jeannette Vanden Heuvel, director of development for Bethell Hospice Foundation. |
