Current and past residents of Inglewood are invited to a fun reunion party this September.

From 3 to 8 p.m. on September 4, an “Inglewood Reunion” will be held at GoodLot Farmstead Brewery.

Tickets to the event are $20 per person or $35 per couple and can be purchased by e-transfer to the following email address: Inglewoodreunion2024@gmail.com.

Janet Harrison, an Inglewood resident helping to organize the reunion, said Inglewood has a great history and that there's been a lot of positive feedback about the upcoming event.

“It just started up as a bunch of people saying, ‘let's get together'... we're all working hard at it,” said Harrison.

She said it's been amazing how many former Inglewood residents have been found, and she's hopeful many can come. Harrison expects over 100 people to attend the September 4 reunion.

“Even though it's 10 minutes from Brampton, Inglewood still has that small-town quality,” said Harrison. “There's some people who have lived here for 50 or 60 years… Inglewood has always had a great amount of spirit and sense of community.”

Harrison said there's going to be a memorabilia table at the reunion, and a classic car cruise to the event that any classic car enthusiasts are welcome to participate in.

“I hope the people living in Inglewood now will have the great memories that we had as kids,” said Harrison.

Harrison said she wanted to give a big thank you to the organizing group of the reunion: Steve Stephens, Erik Peterson, David Morris, Mary Brock, Doris Wozencroft Billing, and Dawn Bryson Phippen.

She noted the reunion was originally Phippen's idea.
