He said that although they still work and are designed to last a long time, many of them are from when the school first opened up over 40 years ago. “With the program growing and growing, we're really hoping to be able to replace many of our 40 year old instruments.” Mr. Rolling said that some of the instruments they are looking for are flutes, clarinets, trumpets, trombones, euphoniums, and tubas. He added that in the last five year, him and his teaching partner have been gradually buying new instruments and taking donated ones as well, which average to about one or two donations a year. Now, they are looking for a push in donations. “We've done really well.” He also said they have consistently have enough instruments to cover students, and the program has been going well, with “students from all over the school” now partaking in it. Mr. Rolling said donations can be made by visiting the school's front office, or call 905-857-0771 ext. 536. --------------------------------------------------- Images: --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2018-05-10 11:07:04 Post date GMT: 2018-05-10 15:07:04 Post modified date: 2018-05-10 11:07:04 Post modified date GMT: 2018-05-10 15:07:04 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
