It's a total change, but change is good.”  The spa has provided facial therapies, such as a classic European seaweed facial, four layer facial and glycolic sea peel, enhancements, message therapies, such as hot stone message and Indian head massage, nail services, waxing and body therapies such as peppermint sea twist and sea spa glow among many others. “We offer more than a Mani and a Pedi, we have body treatments,” said Fisher. “It's something that you can go in to for a few hours. I found there weren't any too many freestanding spas in the area.” Fisher has a background in the automotive industry. She used to work at a Petro Canada, with three bays and a full-serve gas station at Young and Lawrence. She had the idea to open the store from a family member who suggested it. She saw the unit available online and decided that it might be a good location for her new venture. “Where I was located in Toronto, it shut down,” said Fisher. “I was not working for about six months, so I decided that it was time to open a new business.” Fisher has lived in Caledon for quite some time. She used to commute to Toronto, for her job there, but now plans to stay in Caledon for a while. “I love Caledon,” said Fisher. “I moved to Caledon East about seven years ago, and I don't want to leave Caledon.” She thought about the name of her new business for a while, talking to people about it, and after a while felt confident to go with it. “Everybody really likes the style, they like the name,” said Fisher. “It's a hidden unit, and I thought about the name with a couple of people, after a while and thought I'm going with the name I picked.” She said wants to change the menu later on and add more body treatment services. She said they even had men coming in and calling about waxing and massages. She feels fortunate to have her staff, who possess experience and are professional. She does plan to hire more if they get busier and would like to offer more hours to her staff. Hidden Serenity Spa can be found in the south end of Charleston Sideroad and Highway 10. They are open Monday to Friday, 10 a..m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit their website, www.hiddenserenityspa.ca or call (519)-927-7772. --------------------------------------------------- Images: --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2019-05-30 13:10:23 Post date GMT: 2019-05-30 17:10:23 Post modified date: 2019-05-30 13:10:32 Post modified date GMT: 2019-05-30 17:10:32 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
