Hear about a transgender’s journey at Lifetree

A transgender's journey will be shared at the July 3 session of Lifetree Café.
The one-hour discussion will include the filmed story of a man changing gender, starting at 7 p.m.
The exclusive film follows a man named Bob, who says he knew at the age of four that he was really a girl in a boy's body. The film examines issues surrounding transgenderism, such as family dynamics, workplace complications and spiritual implications.
“This issue, transgenderism, raises all sorts of questions for people,” commented Lifetree Café spokesperson Craig Cable. “Increasingly, our schools, workplaces, and faith communities are looking for answers. This Lifetree program provides some insight.”
Admission is free. Snacks and beverages will be available.
Lifetree Café is at 6025 Old Church Rd. in Caledon East, in the café space in St James' Church.
Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to Bruce Neville at 416-579-9977 or Desiree Neville at 416-579-6748.
