In 2022, Golf Canada and TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley announced their official partnership and vision to build the new home and headquarters of Golf Canada on the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley grounds in Caledon.

Now, ahead of the 2026 RBC Canadian Open, held once again at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, that vision has come to life and is complete.

This three-story, 26,000-square-foot, $24 million headquarters is on an eight-acre site next to TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, a media release by the Construction Manager, Gillam, says it is expected to serve as Golf Canada's national headquarters for the next 50 to 100 years.

The headquarters has been relocated from Oakville following TPC Toronto Osprey Valley's expressed interest in establishing the partnership. After deciding to partner with Gillam on the project, they broke ground in 2024.

Gillam says the new headquarters is part of the larger “Home for Canadian Golf project,” which also includes relocating the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum, the construction of Talon Links community putting park, and the First Tee – Canada Headquarters, which provides children with life-enhancing experiences through golf.

The putting park, Talon Links, occupies approximately two acres of the eight-acre property and was built intentionally to attract golfers and non-golfers to the location and enjoy an 18-hole golf experience.

Everyone is welcome at Talon Links, at no charge, and putters and balls are provided.

Golf Canada says it is part of their mandate to “grow the game and to make golf more accessible and enjoyable,” adding that Talon Links does just that.

With the RBC Canadian Open on the horizon, the official opening of the new building creates the perfect opportunity to show everything the new home has to offer.

Grant Fraser, Project Manager, Golf Canada, says that the RBC Canadian Open is a “significant Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour event,” and that Golf Canada “will be on display not just across Canada, but throughout the United States as well.”

“It's our national championship and a significant event for all of us at Golf Canada. We want to put our best foot forward for the golfing world and to proudly say this is Golf Canada's new home and Home for Canadian Golf,” says Fraser.

The other component of the project was relocating the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.

“Under the leadership and direction of Meggan Gardner, Golf Canada's Director of Heritage Services, Golf Canada has modernized the whole Hall of Fame experience, providing exhibits and displays celebrating Canadian golf history. In addition to having exhibits and displays at the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley Main Clubhouse, Golf Canada's office is decorated with an assortment of Canadian golf artifacts, images and memorabilia,” says Fraser.

The building itself is an open-concept space, and Gillam says they designed the look and facade to fit in with the others on site.

“What made this successful was the way we managed the project,” said Jeff Collett, Project Director at Gillam. “We coordinated the different aspects of the project and were able to find creative solutions to problems resulting in cost savings.”

Although there was said to be some “fine-tuning” still underway at the site, Gillam and Golf Canada are excited to welcome the community to see the brand-new home for Golf Canada.
