			<content-encoded><![CDATA[Caledon Fire and Emergency Services will be hosting a free home safety seminar designed to help protect home and family from fire.
It will be April 28, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Albion-Bolton Community Centre.
The seminar will cover aluminum wiring, and what can be done to minimize potential hazards; arc fault protection, including new technology proven to reduce home fire risk; carbon monoxide, as alarms are now mandatory, but people need to do more; and smoke alarms, including how many are required and where they should be put.
Special guest speakers will include Gillian Boyd, public education officer with Caledon Fire and Emergency Services; John Calabrese, technical advisor for the Electrical Safety Authority; and John Romanetti, senior electrical solutions specialist.
