FOOD LITERACY COMES DOWN TO THE ‘CRUNCH’

FOOD LITERACY COMES DOWN TO THE ‘CRUNCH' Oct. 1 was Caledon Crunch Day, and Mayor Marolyn Morrison, Karen Hutchinson of Eat Local Caledon and a number of staff members at Town Hall celebrated the occasion by simultaneously biting into locally-grown apples. Hutchinson announced students at 18 Caledon schools were crunching into apples at the same time. She also said the effort was aimed at promoting food literacy and edible education in town.
