Fleming Realty Inc. ready to open Bolton officeBy Bill Rea Sarah Fleming has been running her real estate business out of her home, but she now believes it's time for more of a local identity. The branch office of Fleming Realty Inc. is slated to open Sept. 9 at 12596 Regional Road 50 in Bolton. Fleming said they are now in their eighth year in business, with four sales representatives working for her. “We thought it was time now to have more of a presence,” she commented. Having worked in the Caledon area for her entire time as a realtor (12 years), she and her staff has certification to cover all aspects of the business. “We cover everything,” she said. Things are looking positive for the real estate business these days. Fleming said the market is good, interest rates are low and a good house will sell if it's priced right. There are prospects for growth, but she said they have to take it one step at a time. Fleming Reality has already made its mark in the community. In 2014, it was named Business of the Year by the Caledon Chamber of Commerce. “That really means a lot, that the public is recognizing the smaller businesses,” Fleming said as she received the award. Things progressed to the point that Fleming said people were asking her where the office was. “We decided to open an office,” she said. Fleming added she has priorities set for the immediate future of the company — “To just keep on course (with) what we're doing. I'm going to keep on the track I'm on and build slowly.” She said she also sees her company as a “boutique realty firm,” adding they stress “more personalized” service. “My philosophy is to give them what they need all the time,” she added. Sept. 9 will include an open house from 3 to 7 p.m.  Sarah Fleming is set to open her Bolton office Sept. 9. |
