The Town, in partnership with Choice Properties and the Rice Group, announced the completion of final planning approvals for the Choice Caledon Business Park on Tuesday. Set for the north side of Mayfield Road between Airport and Tobram Roads, the latest step in the process has made way for construction. “Caledon continues to grow as a place where businesses can invest, innovate, and create jobs,” said Mayor Annette Groves in a statement. “The Choice Caledon Business Park will help strengthen our local economy, create opportunities for residents close to home, and support thoughtful growth that benefits our community today and into the future.” Once complete, the Choice Caledon Business Park will include 340 acres of employment lands, and two new public roads connecting to Mayfield and Airport Roads, “designed to safely handle truck traffic and support efficient movement of goods.” It will also offer 107 acres of conservation and natural lands. “Several major facilities at the business park are already complete or moving forward: a National Logistics Services (NLS) facility is built and operating, supporting integrated fulfillment and transportation solutions for global lifestyle brands; construction has begun on an additional building that will accommodate another major employer,” says the Town of Caledon.  “Together, these developments represent more than 2.8 million square feet of new industrial space and significant employment opportunities for Caledon residents and the surrounding region. Looking ahead, the business park has room for up to four additional buildings and more than 3.24 million square feet, which will bring even more employment space and attract new businesses to Caledon over time.” The Town says the Choice Caledon Business Park strengthens Caledon's “growing role as a key employment centre and supports the Town's long-term economic goals” while creating jobs and supporting local businesses. “Choice Caledon Business Park is a clear demonstration that Caledon is open for business. With final planning approvals now in place, this transformative development reflects the Town's commitment to fostering innovation, supporting responsible growth, and creating conditions for long-term economic success,” said Caledon CAO Nathan Hyde in a statement. “It will attract new businesses, create high-quality jobs, strengthen our economic base, and continue to position Caledon as a premier destination for business and investment.” Added Rice Group CEO Michael Rice: “Choice Caledon Business Park is more than an industrial development; it is a long-term investment in the future of Caledon. We are incredibly grateful to the Town of Caledon staff and all our project partners for their collaborative approach, professionalism, and commitment in helping our team bring this development to life while achieving critical development approvals on schedule. With an additional three million square feet of industrial development in the pipeline, this project will continue to attract industry-leading logistics, distribution, and advanced manufacturing companies, creating jobs, driving investment, and reinforcing Caledon's position as one of Canada's premier employment destinations.” --------------------------------------------------- Images: --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2026-07-16 11:18:26 Post date GMT: 2026-07-16 15:18:26 Post modified date: 2026-07-16 11:18:35 Post modified date GMT: 2026-07-16 15:18:35 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
