Female driver facing several chargesA 27-year-old woman from Caledon is facing a number of charges after Caledon OPP received a traffic complaint in the area of Highways 9 and 10 June 22. Police reported they later found a woman driver in the area of Highway 10 and Olde Base Line Road, travelling about 195 km-h in a posted 80 zone. The woman was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, stunt driving and several other offences under the Highway Traffic Act. Her licence was suspended on the spot and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. |
