Mayfield Secondary School
Rachel Chan-Yaneff
This Grade 11 student has been making her mark in singles tennis. She was recently successful in winning at ROPSSAA, earning the right to go to OFSAA in June. She is also active in Nordic skiing and rowing at school. In the community, she plays tennis in Guelph and is active at the Eglinton-Caledon Hunt. The 16-year-old lives in the Mono Mills area with he parents Manisa Chan-Yaneff and Greg Yaneff.

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School
Megan Campbell
This 16-year-old played centre forward on the school's varsity field hockey team, which went undefeated for the whole season, until the semifinals last Thursday. “We did really well,” she said. “I wish we could have gone further.” Away from school, she enjoys swimming. The Grade 12 student lives in Mono with her parents Gary and Brenda Campbell.

St. Michael Catholic Secondary School
Shawn Socklalingam
This Grade 10 student has been playing off side on the school's varsity volleyball team. The squad has two games left (as of last Thursday) in what has been a rather difficult season. He also plays centre back in intermural soccer. The 15-year-old lives in Bolton with his parents Ranjika and Kumar Socklalingam.

Humberview Secondary School
Aidan Bogner
This 14-year-old is a singles tennis player who recently made it to ROPSSAA, although he only got to the first round. “It was tough,” he said. He's also interested in alpine skiing for the school team. Away from school, he skis at Craigleith and plays on the courts of Palgrave Tennis Club. The Grade 10 student lives in Bolton with his parents Troy and Sue Bogner.
