This 15-year-old is pretty good at track and field, especially when it comes to throwing the discus. He took third place at a recent meet in Etobicoke with a throw of 30.08 metres, “also my personal record,” he said. He started throwing the discus in Grade 7, after he happened to show up at a track meet and gave it a try. He also throws the shot put. The Grade 9 student lives in Alton.

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School

This Grade 9 student is playing mid field of the varsity girls' outdoor lacrosse team, which has opened the season by compiling a 3-1 record. She also played defence on the varsity girls' hockey team this year. Away from school, she plays rep hockey in the Brampton Canadettes organization and rep lacrosse with the Orangeville Northmen. The 15-year-old lives in Orangeville.

St. Michael Catholic Elementary School

This 15-year-old plays centre back on the junior boys' soccer team, which has opened its campaign with a 1-0-1 record. “This season's looking promising,” he said. “Hopefully, we can win ROPSSAA like we did last year.” In the community, he plays rep soccer in the Caledon Bulldogs organization. The Grade 10 student lives in Bolton.

Humberview Secondary School

The Grade 10 student is a busy soccer player. He's playing centre mid for the varsity soccer team at school, and also played left side power on junior boys' volleyball team. Away from school, he practises five days per week with the ANB Academy, which operates out of Country Day School in King City. The 15-year-old lives in Bolton.
