DQ Athletes of the Week — March 5, 2015


Mayfield Secondary School Evan and Joel Chabot These 14-year-old twins have been holding down guard positions for the junior boys' basketball team. “We're going to be better next year,” Joel said. The two also played tennis at school in the fall. Away from school, they play rep basketball in the Caledon Cougars' organization. The Grade 9 students live in Palgrave with their parents Terri and Andre Chabot.

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School Noah DoPaco This Grade 10 student is a right winger on the varsity boys' hockey team, and he scored the winning goal against the team from St. Francis Xavier Secondary School to advance to the next round. He also thinking of going out for track in the spring, possibly specializing in the 1,500 metres, and he might play soccer too. In the community, he plays minor midget A hockey in the Caledon Hawks organization. The 15-year-old lives in Bolton with his parents Joe DoPaco and Maria Marignani.

Away from school, she plays bantam A hockey in the Brampton Canadettes organization, as well as defence in rep soccer for the Bolton Wanderers. The Grade 9 student lives in Bolton with her parents Diane and Nino Mendosa.

The 15-year-old lives in Bolton with her parents Jan and Tom Mathieson.
