DQ Athletes of the Week — December 4, 2014


Mayfield Secondary School Colin McClure This 15-year-old played power for the junior boys' volleyball team, which made it to ROPSSAA, but lost in the first round. He's also planning to go out for track and field in the spring, intending to specialize in the long and triple jumps. The Grade 10 student lives in north Caledon with his parents Paul and Amanda McClure.

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School Evan Kiser This Grade 10 student plays centre on the varsity hockey team, which is ready to start its season. He also played second base last year on the school's varsity baseball team. Away from school, he plays minor midget AA hockey for the Orangeville Flyers and AAA baseball in the Richmond Phoenix organization. The 15-year-old lives in Mono with his parents Doug and Lisa Kiser.

He played badminton for the school last year and is hoping to do it again. In the community, he plays AA hockey in the Caledon Hawks organization. The Grade 10 student lives in Bolton with his parents Larry and Marisa Rebellato.

She also plays badminton at school. In the community, she's a rep soccer mentor in the Bolton Wanderers' organization. The 14-year-old lives in Bolton with her parents Andrea and Florin Pleava.
