Double header action in Inglewood Ball Hockey play


After three nights of action, 360 Tire Service is shaping up to be the team to beat in the Inglewood Ball Hockey League.
They posted their third win last Thursday with a 4-0 shut out of Carney Plumbing.
April 28
360 Tire Service 4, Carney Plumbing 0
In the first shut out of the season, Dylan Berry backstopped the Tire Service to the win.
Net nabbers for 360 were Kelvin Young from Mike Vutcher and Kyle Jones, Vutcher from Kyle Young, Jeff Ferguson from Young and Tyson Dennings, and Jones from Marco Franza and Kyle Young.
George's Arena Sports 4, Mr. Handyman 2
In a close one, the guys from George's were able to hobble the Handymen and get the win.
George's gate crashers were Matt Campanella (unassisted), Campanella from Zach Lyons and Liam Winslow, Jordan Bokla from Darryl Miles, and Sal Iozzo from Lyons. Handyman heroes were Nathan Irvine from Will Pitsadiontis and Kristian McMillan, and Daniel Leone from Chris Capobianco and JT Gore.
Caledon Hills Cycling 3, We Are Creative 0
In the final game, substitute keeper Brandon Sinclair earned the goose-egg for the Cycling crew.
Cycling scorers were Travis Cassar from Dave Philips and Kyle Dalcin, Matt White (unassisted), and Cassar from Philips and Albert Bettridge.
April 26
Last Tuesday saw the first tie of the season and George's and The Creative crew battled to a draw.
We Are Creative 2, George's Arena Sports 2
In an evenly matched game, neither team was able to best the other this night.
George's go-to guys were Campanella from Zach Lyons, and Winslow from Lyons. We Are got Creative from Joshua D'Eri with both markers and Anthony Mellace with the lone helper.
360 Tire Service 7, Caledon Hills Cycling 1
The 360 Tire guys took no chances after falling behind in the first and rolled over the Cyclers.
Tire troopers were Franza (four goals and two assists), Dean Campbell (a goal and an assist), Chris McCron (a goal and an assist), Simon Nicholson (three assists), Kyle Young (one goal), Graham Taylor (one assist) and Kelvin Young (one assist). Caledon Hills lone sniper was Kyle Dalcin from Cassar and Geoff Lyons.
Mr. Handyman 3, Carney Plumbing 1
In a close one, Mr. Handyman dropped the hammer and took the win from the Plumbers.
Handyman howlers were Robert Keszeg from Gore and Ryan Hartman, Keszeg from McMillan and Alex Tenaglia, and Capobianco from Kent Johnstone and Irvine. Carney's lone lamp lighter was Scott Churly from Pete Davis.
April 19
The first evening of action saw the Tire Service guys showing the most early success.
360 Tire Service 8, George's Arena Sports 4
The first game of the new year had a miscommunication and George's end up without their keeper, which 360 Tire took full advantage of to get the win.
Net nabbers for the Tire guys were Tyson Demings (one goal), Chris McCann (one assist), Franza (five goals), Steve Gardiner (two assists), Taylor (three assists), Kyle Young (a goal and an assist), Ferguson (one assist), Vutcher (one assist), Kelvin Young (a goal and an assist), Jones (one assist) and John McClure (one assist). George's go to guys were Zach Lyons (two goals), Miles (one assist), Iozzo (one goal), Jordan Bakla (one assist), Winslow (one goal), Jason Caruana (one assist) and Tony Sousa (one assist).

We Are Creative 1
In a tight-fought match, Mr. Handyman were able to hold on and get the win.
Handyman heroes were Anton Ethier from Capobianco, Leone from Pitsadiontis and Tenaglia, and Capobianco from Johnstone and Ethier. We Are Creative's crasher was Mark Hammet from Richard Podzorski and D'Eri.

Caledon Hills Cycling 2
In the last match of the night, some old faces on new teams faced off against each other with Carney Plumbing flushing the Cyclers.
Brandon Sinclair netted the hat trick with Shawn Lane bagging the brace for the Plumbers, while Brian Dunn, Dave Phillips, Jesse Rooyakkers and Churly all added assists. Caledon Hills clappers were fired by Kyle Dalcin and Cassar, with assists from the sticks of Geoff Lyons and Dalcin.
