CVC holding rural landowners’ services socialAre you a rural landowner living in the Credit River watershed with questions about how to manage your property? Are you interested in meeting with countryside neighbours to share experiences and learn from one another? Now, here's your chance. Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) invites you to attend the Rural Landowner Services Social March 18 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Belfountain Public School, 17247 Shaws Creek Rd. This event is a one-stop-shop for accessing information about numerous programs and services to assist with managing properties. CVC experts will answer questions related to forestry, stream, pond, wetland, invasive species, planning, land securement and agriculture. “We offer many different programs and services to rural watershed landowners. We realize it might not always be easy to know how CVC can help you with managing your land,” said CVC Director of Restoration and Stewardship Mike Puddister. “We hope that the Rural Landowner Services Social will make it easy for landowners to ask their questions and gain access to one or more of our programs.” This event is free, thanks to funding from CVC's regional and municipal partners. A presentation from CVC on services available for landowners will take place from 7 to 7:30 p.m. The remaining hour is reserved for a networking social with CVC experts. Those interested are asked to register online at www.creditvalleyca.ca/events or by calling 1-800-668-5557 ext. 436. |
