Creative crafts and tasty treats will take centre stage at an upcoming Caledon Seniors Centre event.

On November 4, the Caledon Seniors Centre will host a combination craft sale, bake sale, and silent auction event.

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Seniors centre, which is located at 7 Rotarian Way in Bolton.

Peameal bacon on a bun will be served for breakfast, and there will be a tea room for guests. A barbeque lunch will be served at the event, too.

The sale and silent auction are being held as a fundraiser for the Seniors' Centre, with cash donations also welcome.

There is still room for crafters and vendors to be featured in the event.

The cost of renting a table is $30, and those interested in doing so can call the centre at 905-951-6114. The Seniors' Centre is also looking for silent auction donations, and potential donors can call the same number.

Caledon Seniors' Centre manager Beverley Nurden explained the sale used to happen annually before the pandemic. It returned in a smaller capacity in 2022, and is back in full force for 2023.

“All the baked stuff comes from donations from the seniors,” said Nurden. “It's one big fundraiser.”
