A 36-year-old man from Owen Sound is facing charges after Caledon OPP received a traffic complaint from Highway 10 Sept. 7.
Police report they were called out at about 5:40 a.m. after witnesses complained a northbound black Mazda had been spotted crossing into the southbound lanes. There was also information the car was going at a high speed. Officers were able to stop the car just south of Orangeville.
The man was charged with dangerous driving, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
His licence was suspended on the spot and his car impounded for seven days.
