Community tree planting SaturdayJoin the Bolton and District Horticultural Society (BDHS) this coming Saturday (May 11) for a tree and shrub planting in Sunkist Woods. It will run from 10 a.m. until noon. This will be a family-friendly event and youth are encouraged to be involved. Come prepared with work gloves and closed-toed, waterproof footwear. Organizers will supply the tools and refreshments. Treats will be provided by Mars Canada Park in the Pumping Station parking lot off the west end of Old King Road (watch for balloons at entrance). This planting is being co-sponsored by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Town of Caledon, (BDHS), Bolton Girl Guides, MARS Canada and Sunkist Woods Residents For more information, contact Richard Hunt at 905-857-3228 or [email protected] |
