Colour Run fundraiser at Nobleton SchoolNobleton Public School is holding a Colour Fun Run and Spring Fling fundraiser May 23 in hopes to raise enough money to purchase classroom laptops and technology. The students have enthusiastically embraced the Colour Run which will start at 11 a.m. A Colour Run is an untimed fun run where participants will complete laps around the school yard and at every lap they are sprinkled with a different colour of non-toxic powder. There will be five laps in all. The school would like the community to come and join the fun. Athletes four to 14 years old and their families are invited to receive their registrations by emailing register@nobletonfunrun.com The school council fundraising committee will also be selling registrations at the Victoria Day Fair. After the Colour Run there will be a Spring Fling and Yard Sale, as well as games for the kids, including a bouncy castle. Participants can enjoy a barbecue, music, entertainment, toddler tent, raffle prizes and a silent auction table — something for everyone! Nobleton Public School is at 13375 Highway 27, north of King Road in Nobleton. |
