Clorox donates to Peel Memorial redevelopmentThe William Osler Health System has received a substantial contribution to its redevelopment of Peel Memorial Hospital. The $100,000 cheque was donated by the Clorox Company of Canada at the company's centennial celebration, which was attended by several government dignitaries. “Congratulations to the Clorox team on achieving 100 years of excellence, innovative spirit and enduring value” said Ken Mayhew, president and CEO of the Osler Foundation. “Clorox is community minded organization and their generosity will help bring the new Peel Memorial to life.” The redesigned hospital will be equipped to give the community a plethora of both traditional and alternative treatment methods, as well as learning facilities to teach patients about how to enrich their own health. “The new Peel Memorial represents an opportunity for Brampton to be on the leading edge of health care delivery, with a facility that is focused on improving the health and wellness of residents across this region,” Mayhew said. The new facility is slated to open either in 2015 or 16. |
