Several people were out at Fines Ford Lincoln in Bolton last Wednesday for the presentation of the grand prize in the Bethell Hospice Foundation Caring for Our Community Lottery. Forks of the Credit area resident Peter Olar was accompanied by his wife Margaret as he accepted the keys to this 2016 Lincoln MKC SUV from Jeannette Vanden Heuvel, director of development for the foundation. Also on hand were Bob Fines, and Hospice volunteers Margalith Estierhuizen, Carol Walker and Maurice Smith. Olar said he bought the winning ticket at the draft banquet of the Caledon Oldies Hockey League, in which he's a goalie. Bill Doherty sold him the ticket. “I bought my ticket at the right time, I guess,” he said. Vanden Heuvel said they sold more than $3,000 tickets. “We managed to meet our goal,” she commented. “We're just thrilled.”
