Car lottery to launch at Sunday’s Inglewood hike for Bethell Hospice

In addition to raising $100,000, this year's Hike for Bethell Hospice is offering more excitement.
This Sunday (May 4) marks the official launch of the Bethell Hospice Foundation Caring for Our Community lottery. Participants in the two hikes will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for a chance to win a 2014 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, provided through Fines Ford Lincoln in Bolton. Tickets are $20 each, only 10,000 tickets will be sold, and all proceeds stay in the community in support of Bethell Hospice. In partnership with local Rotary clubs and Scotiabank branches, lottery tickets will be available throughout the spring and summer at community and Rotary events, Scotiabank branches in Bolton and Orangeville, Fines Ford Lincoln in Bolton and directly from Bethell Hospice. The winning ticket will be drawn at Bolton Fall Fair Sept. 20.

The Inglewood Hike for Bethell Hospice will take place Sunday at the Community Centre in Inglewood, and the Bolton Hike will be next Saturday (May 10) at Dick's Dam Park in Bolton. For both hikes, registration begins at 9 a.m., followed by a balloon release ceremony and hike at 10 a.m, and a barbecue at 11 a.m. Registration is $25 and hikers are encouraged to gather pledges of support. Registration includes lunch and a limited edition hike T-shirt, and is fully tax receiptable.

The Hikes for Bethell Hospice are supported by platinum level community partners Meadowvale Cemetery Crematorium and Visitation Centre, Scotiabank Bolton, Cavalier Transportation Services and Brampton Brick.
