<p>More voices have joined the chorus of support for the Region of Peel remaining whole.</p>

<p>On December 13, Ontario Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing Paul Calandra announced the Province had reversed its decision to dissolve the Region of Peel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Caledon, Brampton, and Mississauga will continue to form the upper-tier municipality of the Region of Peel, and will no longer become independent.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Caledon's Regional Councillor for Wards 1, 2 and 3, Christina Early, said she's pleased with the Province's reversal as she never felt dissolution was the right move in the first place.&nbsp;</p>
