A national celebration of arts, culture, and heritage, Culture Days is a chance for residents to discover local artists, creators, and performers, as well as appreciate heritage all around us. Culture Days will formally begin Thursday with a flag raising at Town Hall, but a particular showpiece will be the Caledon Creative Arts Festival, which has now expanded to two days. The Caledon Creative Arts Weekend will begin Friday, September 25, with Caledon Under the Stars, from 6 – 10 p.m. at the Caledon East Community Complex's soccer field, continuing on Saturday, September 26, from 1 – 6 p.m. at the same location. “Join us Friday evening for Caledon Under the Stars, featuring live music, a local musical theatre performance, a movie, and food and drinks under the open sky,” says the Town, noting the theatre performance will be brought to life by the Stage Academy Theatre Association. “Then return Saturday for the Caledon Creative Arts Festival, where you can explore hands-on workshops, enjoy live performances, discover local artists, and shop a curated arts market.” Performers slated for the Creative Arts Festival include Humber River Voyageurs, Second Degree Burns, Cedar Drummers, Dom Tuzi, Matt Zaddy, Vaibhav Bhambra, and James Madio. Participating artists are set to include Alyssa Ross Art, Caribbean Animal Tales, Cats & Curios, Cozy Knits N Knots, Diya Designs, KashmirNest, Me and my Viibe, Murauj, Naawigiizhig Creations, Nifty Lines, Resin Elegance, Tori Samuels, Uluka Arts, and Vibha's Creative Decosphere. Throughout Culture Days, activities will be hosted by the Caledon Public Library and, come October, the festivities are set to close out in spectacular fashion.  More than a dozen artists are set to participate in the Caledon Studio Tour, which will take place at various locations around the community October 3 and 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., while Caledon Culturefest takes over the Humber River Centre on Saturday, October 3, from 3 – 10 p.m. “Join us at the Humber River Centre for a day to Celebrate, Experience and Learn about the many cultures that make Caledon, Ontario and Canada so richly and beautifully diverse,” say organizers. “Enjoy cultural food samplings, brilliant dance and musical performances, kids' fun zone, a curated collection of cultural artifacts, photo booth and much more! Remember to wear traditional cultural clothing or colors.” For a full roster of Culture Days events, including detailed schedules, and a downloadable brochure and map for the Caledon Studio Tour, visit Caledon.ca/culturedays. --------------------------------------------------- Images: --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2026-09-17 11:23:06 Post date GMT: 2026-09-17 15:23:06 Post modified date: 2026-09-17 11:23:08 Post modified date GMT: 2026-09-17 15:23:08 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
