Caledon OPP taking part in fourth annual Shop with a Cop!Caledon OPP is pleased to announce that chosen Caledon students will have the opportunity to participate in their fourth annual Shop with a Cop! event. Dec. 19, several deserving Caledon students will have the opportunity to spend time with a member of the Caledon OPP shopping for Christmas gifts for their families. Each student will be provided with a $100 gift card donated by local businesses and schools. After Christmas shopping, the students will be transported to Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School followed by breakfast and other festivities. “We are pleased to continue with our tradition in assisting the youth in our community, especially at this time of year,” remarked Detective Constable Karen Medeiros, chairperson of Shop with a Cop! “This special event is very popular with our members, civilians and Auxiliary officers.” “A recent fundraising event held at Garden Foods assisted with our fundraising efforts,” she added. “A second event is planned for December 12th at the same location. A huge thanks to the generous residents of our community in contributing to our event.” |
