There were more than 500 vehicles stopped in the effort, and four of them were investigated in relation to the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act. The result was five men were charged with possession of a controlled substance. They included a 24-year-old man from Caledon village and 22-year-old man from Caledon. Police also said a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized from the vehicles. There weren't many charges involving drinking and driving at the spot checks. Two motorists were required to provide breath samples, but they both passed. The of the vehicle stops resulted in charges with provincial offences.
