Caledon businesses and organizations were all on display over the weekend at the annual Caledon Home and Lifestyle Show at Albion-Bolton Community Centre. The Show was sponsored by James Dick Construction and run in partnership with the Town. Members of Self Defence With Awareness and Respect (SWAR) Tai Kwon Do of Caledon East put on this demonstration Friday night at the conclusion of the opening ceremonies.

Various community groups had members hard at work barbecuing food for those attending the Show. Rod Karasiak of Palgrave T-Ball was handling some of the cooking chores.

Members of the Bolton and District Horticultural Society were represented at the Show, promoting sunflowers. Jessica Heenan and her grandmother Brenda were running the booth here.

Olympic silver medalist in synchronized swimming (1996) Erin Woodley was at the opening ceremonies Friday night, showing her medal to young and old.

There was a draw for tickets to the upcoming Pan Am Games Friday night. Mayor Allan Thompson held the drum as Tess Routliffe, a Para Pan Games athlete made the draw.

King resident Kendall McCulloch created this horse sculpture made of steel rebar, gearing up for a busy equestrian season, and the fanfare associated with the Pan Am Games. Councillor Barb Shaughnessy was riding it side-saddle, accompanied Anne Thompson.
