Crowds of fun-loving people packed Town Hall Civic Campus in Caledon East Saturday for the seventh annual Caledon Day celebrations. There were lots of activities through out the grounds, and great weather to accompany them. The rock and reggae sounds of Big Sugar attracted the crowds Saturday night as they headlined the evening concert for Caledon Day.

Katya Seckar, an education specialist with Peel Region Public Works was explaining how round abouts should be handled to people Violet Turner, 7, of Cedar Mills and her sister Jamie, 10.

The entertainment included a performance by the Bolton group Eternal Red, which won the recent Battle of the Bands contest hosted by the Town's Parks and Recreation department. The band members are Edouardo Famele on guitar, Griffin Brady-Eckel on drums, Grace Turner on vocals and Andreas Arramidis on bass.

Area and Noah Trueman of Caledon East were trying to make friends with this pot bellied pig named Arnold, who was attending the festivities from Teen Ranch.

Caledon OPP had some of their special vehicles on display Saturday, and Julian Byle, 3, and his sister Eve, 5, from Caledon East were getting a feel for them.

Lauren Bristoll, Mel Karpenko and Ally Kufrin were helping to blow up balloons at Caledon Community Services' booth.

Alex Petricca of Caledon East was helping his son Nathan, 3, handle the hammer as they worked together assembling this car at the Home Depot station.
