Caledon Central to host 50th anniversary in April Caledon Central Public School will celebrate its 50th anniversary April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.Come join in this celebration, and reminisce and renew old acquaintances with former students and staff. Classrooms will be dedicated to display memorabilia from each decade from the 1960s to the present. Refreshments will be sold by the Caledon Optimists as a fundraiser for this group. Keepsake items will also be for sale. To get one's name on the guest list, email [email protected] The anniversary committee is also looking for old school/classroom photos and other memorabilia pertaining to Caledon Central to loan or copy. Feel free to pass this information along to former students and teachers who attended this school from1965. Organizers would also like to hear from anyone who recognizes faces in this photo, which was taken at the opening ceremonies of the school in December 1965. Those who can help out are asked to contact Penny Maltman at 519-927-5231. |
