Cadets did themselves proud

46-cennotaphNov. 10 saw the Bolton Remembrance ceremonies.
RCSCC 253 Crescent (Bolton Sea Cadet Corp) took part in both the march and the Honour Guard.
The weather was cold, windy, wet, uncomfortable.
Caledon witnessed that day, in the Bolton Sea Cadet Corp, a true group of dedicated young women and men at their best.
As the Cadets stood motionless during the ceremony, rain dripping off their faces, the bitter wind blowing directly at them, they moved not a muscle. As they stood side by side with the veterans, placing the wreaths. There could be no prouder moment.
During the march to the Cenotaph, the Bolton Sea Cadets marched with heads held high. It was an awesome sight to see.
These young Cadets are very worthy of the title Men and Women in Uniform.
These women and men of Crescent proved that they can stand shoulder to shoulder, hold their head high and proud, with anyone.
The Town of Caledon and all parents of Crescent Cadets, should be very proud of their sons and daughters in uniform.
