Title: Bruce Haire passes away

Former Caledon Citizen publisher Bruce Haire has died.
Mr. Haire passed away Sunday at Southlake Regional Health Centre after a lengthy illness. He was 68.
Mr. Haire, a founder of this and other publications, was a well-respected community member, husband to Mary Haire, and father of three daughters — Julie, Kristen and Heather, as well as a loving grandfather.
He also served a term on the municipal council in the Town of New Tecumseth, from 2010 to 2014.
Mr. Haire fought a long-term battle with a rare and serious illness, Scleroderma.
Visitation will be at Rod Abrams Funeral Home in Tottenham today (Thursday) from 10 to 11 a.m. That will be followed by a memorial service in Mr. Haire's honour at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the Tottenham Legion.
For those who wish, donations can be made in Mr. Haire's memory to the Jehovah Jireh Christian Ministries or the Scleroderma Society of Ontario.
