The funds raised will be directed toward paediatric equipment at the hospital, including the AccuVein Illuminating Device, which is a state-of-the-art tool that illuminates a baby's veins when the newborn needs extra care through intravenous. Routine blood work is also made easier with the AccuVein, reducing discomfort for the hospital's littlest patients. “We are proud to be the recipients of McHappy Day funds,” said William Osler Health System Foundation President and CEO Ken Mayhew. “This event taps into a deep well of support within the community for Osler's hospitals, making a significant investment in the paediatric program and helping to provide the best possible start to life for the more than 5,000 babies born at Brampton Civic Hospital each year.” --------------------------------------------------- Images: --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2013-06-19 17:31:04 Post date GMT: 2013-06-19 21:31:04 Post modified date: 2013-06-19 17:31:04 Post modified date GMT: 2013-06-19 21:31:04 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
