Kupriianova said the donation was made as part of Brampton Brick's commitment to giving back to the communities it works in. Kupriianova explained that since 2002, Brampton Brick has donated over $180,000 to CCS to help them provide resources and services to Caledon families, youth, children and seniors in need.  Monty Laskin, CCS' Chief Executive Officer, said Brampton Brick has been an outstanding community champion for many years. “Their exceptional generosity has a profound impact on hundreds upon hundreds of lives right here at home,” said Laskin. “Their philanthropic generosity inspires us and our clients amid very challenging times. We are grateful beyond words for their investment in our work.” The President of Brampton Brick, David Carter, said he and his company are very fortunate to be able to give back to the communities they live and work in.  “This year, we are excited to donate $50,000 to Caledon Community Services and we look forward to seeing the people of Caledon continue to benefit and thrive through the many life-changing programs and services that (CCS) provides,” said Carter. Kupriianova said in 2022, the number of new clients that registered to receive food support at CCS more than doubled, and that the need in Caledon for nutritious food and home heating is only continuing to grow.
