Bolton Scouts award their high achievers at banquet




The 1st Bolton Scouts held their annual Parent and Youth Awards Banquet Saturday at Humberview Secondary School. These Venturers have been progressing through the Duke of Edinburgh Award Program. Harry Hautot, who's completed the Gold level, was not able to attend the banquet, but some creativity enabled him to be represented in a form, seen here with Jarid White (Bronze) and Alexander Court and Robert Matson (Gold).

These Cubs were recognized for completing the Fun Leadership EXperience (FLEX). Dufferin-Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones and MP David Tilson were on hand for the presentation, along with Venturer Alexander Court, Yellow Briar District Youth Rep Chloe Gunter and Commissioner Derek Mumford, to (front) Erik Mumford, Christopher Dunn, Blake Livingston, Nicholas Munich, (back) Jacob Rossi, Riley Archdekin, Gianluca Cudizio and Aidan McCulloch.

These Cubs were recognized for completing the Fun Leadership EXperience (FLEX). No gathering of Cubs, Scouts and Venturers would be complete without a campfire, and organizers of Saturday's event were able to set something up, even indoors.
