Belfountain Community Centre closed

Belfountain Community Centre on Main Street in the hamlet has been ordered closed, as of Tuesday (March 3).
The Town of Caledon has announced this is a precaution in the interest of public safety.
Public Works Director David Loveridge couldn’t say how long the facility will be closed, although he said the plan is to get a report on the situation to Town council, either late this month or early in April.
“There are significant repairs that need to be done,” he remarked, adding the building needs a new roof and septic system. He also said there are issues with parking and accessibility.
