Author Andrew Westoll, whose novel The Chimps of Fauna Sanctuary: a Canadian Story of Resilience and Recovery, won the 2012 Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction, recently spoke at the Albion-Bolton branch of Caledon Public Library. The book describes his heart-warming adventures as a volunteer caregiver in the chimphouse at Fauna Sanctuary, which is Canada's only chimp sanctuary. He spoke about his experiences at the sanctuary and how he was witness to the chimps' remarkable recovery first-hand.
