The mural was thought up after the students took an environmental science course. They decided to use their artistic skills to show the beauty of Bolton using symbolism in the importance of everything that makes up the village, including the Humber river, baseball diamond, a community and a tree that connects on all four sides showing that they all connect.) They also wanted to use art in the community to promote the arts program at their school. Their hope is the mural helps young artists find inspiration and keeps the community clean. Seen here are students Carly Beamish, Christina Yarascavitch, Emily Miceli, Hera Xhyheri, Nikki Arezza, Sara Boudreau and Sara Garofalo.Submitted photo --------------------------------------------------- Images: https://caledoncitizen.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/38-st.mike-5.5-inch-300x222.jpg --------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------- Post date: 2014-11-27 17:24:12 Post date GMT: 2014-11-27 22:24:12 Post modified date: 2014-11-27 17:24:12 Post modified date GMT: 2014-11-27 22:24:12 ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Export of Post and Page as text file has been powered by [ Universal Post Manager ] plugin from www.gconverters.com
